What is Black Girl Intuition?

Sis! Welcome to Black Girl Intuition. We’re so hype to connect that we ain’t gon’ waste no time letting you know exactly what this is.

This is for us. This is by us. This is healing. This is self-discovery. This is spirituality. This is community. Black Girl Intuition is the space and resource for Black women strengthening their inner-knowing in all stages of their spiritual journeys.

If you Google intuition, the white man’s definition reads: The ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning. You know that sometimes uneasy, gut feeling in your stomach, the butterflies or chills, ‘the knowing’ you can’t explain but ‘just know’ or feel in your body? Yeah girl, it’s time to become a little more aware of that feeling, and you can start with Cause We Be Knowin’: Strengthening Your Intuition.

Now that you know more about what’s going on ‘round these parts, we’ll get into how we were guided and aligned to bring Black Girl Intuition to consciousness, and why we knew we had to make it happen.

Journal Entry - June 2020

A lot has happened. Both amazing and ridiculously ludicrous. Meditated this morning, literally asked to be punched in the face with a sign.

Shot Ant a text while sitting in the post office parking lot about the idea I had while meditating last night: her and I creating some type of medium/intuition something for Black women.

She immediately began telling me about a website she was building for that, and how she was gonna ask me to be a part and work on it with her, but she didn’t have the full concept yet.

When I say it felt like all the breath left my body! I was so speechless I could not believe the synchronicity. But I can cuz it’s REAL and this was the sign I asked for.

My mind was SO blown and still is TBH. We received the same message. I can not wait to see what her ideas are, expound on them and create a dope ass life.

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow.

It was our individual journeys and connectedness (our telepathy is *chef’s kiss*) that led us to creating this intentional space for Black women to learn about and discuss spirituality with each other. And serve as a reminder that we have everything we already need within. We all we got, so look forward to healing, discovering more of your authentic self, and expanding your spiritual journey alongside women with shared culture and your best interest at heart.

Tap in sis...to your highest self, eachother, the divine, and your ancestors, ‘cause we be knowin’.

Oh, and one more thing, ‘we’ are Brittany and Ant, and you can find out more about us and our Black ass lives, here.
